The Formula For Persuasion

Some salespeople approach a sales pitch with the idea that their product/service will sell itself. Many believe that employing all necessary skills to persuade a prospect to buy is tantamount to manipulation and prefer instead to take a kinder, gentler approach that leaves them trying to sell without selling. There is a problem with this approach, you are a salesperson and you do have to sell and contrary to what you may have heard products/services rarely, if ever, jump off the shelves and sell themselves.

If you have ever heard yourself justifying your desire to earn enough money to you’re your family with unrealistic claims such as “I only sell people the things they need;” if you have ever looked negatively upon the essential skill of persuasion that each sales professional must master to become a winner in the selling game; if you have ever planned to simply present your product/service and let the prospect’s decision go the way that fate would take it, read on. You are about to learn something that can have a wondrous effect on your paycheck.

Imagine the following scenario: You approach Joe, a good friend and neighbor, about a health supplement you are selling. This health supplement promises provide the essential vitamins a person needs for a healthy lifestyle but rarely gets through his daily diet. Joe has a passing interest in the product, he has talked to you before about his health and weight issues, but in the end, tells you he will think about it. You seem to be able to get him commit from then on.

This presentation lacked persuasive skills. The sales person focused on explaining how the product worked, discussing benefits, and throwing in testimonials and doctor’s recommendation thinking that a product presented in such a glowing light would quite literally, sell itself - but it didn’t. The presentation was missing one vital element, the element that would give Joe a reason to care about any of this impressive information.

Let’s change the presentation a little to include a more persuasive pitch. In the past, Joe has complained to you about his health issues. He told you recently that he had a doctor’s appointment coming up, and was dreading what he might hear.

You begin the conversation by asking about his latest doctor’s visit and whether he has seen any improvement in his health. “No,” he begins “I am still being told about my weight issues, and I really need to work on my diet.”

You then go on to affirm his position. “I know, there seems to be no way to get all of the important nutrients doctor’s tell us we need into our daily diets.” Let the conversation continue, allowing Joe to tell you his frustrations and concerns. You will later use these frustration in your sales pitch as you know from Joe himself that they are things he feels he must act upon.

“Well Joe,” you begin your pitch, “I know what you are saying about the difficulties of staying healthy and it is very important no matter how difficult it is. Let me tell me what I’ve been doing.” This time, when you segway onto your product, you will do so using language that Joe himself has given you, to explain the problems and frustrations your supplement can heal. You will refer to some of the things Joe’s doctor mentioned concerns he will face if he does not take action. And you will cite the benefits he just told you wanted when you discuss your supplement as the answer to his problems.

Action step: Practice letting your prospects speak about their issues before you pitch them and actually listen. Take notes and use them in your sales presentations.

Dispense with the logic that has you linking the art of persuasion with manipulation. When you focus on issues and concerns that people already have and present your product/service as a solution to those issues, you are simply selling. When you master the art of persuasion, you move beyond soft and ordinary results into repeatable impressive results that stretch far beyond the average.

How To Make Money From Your Music Website With Affiliate Programs

If you have a music website, then there’s an amazingly simple way you can make hundreds, even thousands of dollars with little or no work.

It’s called “Affiliate Marketing.” All this means is that a company will pay you for telling your website visitors (or anybody you know) about their valuable products.

The company gets new customers, your website visitors or customers get new products to help them, and you get paid. It’s a winning deal all around.

In addition, generating commissions is easy. Simply let website visitors know about a certain product by putting banners on your website, telling your email subscribers about it, or mentioning the product after your name in all of the emails you send to others in the music industry.

There’s virtually zero effort involved.

Of course, you’re probably wondering, how’s this different than getting advertisers to place ads on your site?

Well, with affiliate programs you get a piece of the sales generated. Instead, a few bucks in advertising fees, you get a big chunk of the profits – resulting in hundreds or thousands of dollars!

Not to mention, that in order to find good advertisers, you need a very highly-trafficked website. With affiliate programs, you can generate commissions with as little as 1 visitor at your site that buys your recommended product!

This then brings us to the next question, “How do you go about finding good affiliate programs?”

Practically every online business has an affiliate program. The problem is that few actually have “Affiliate friendly” programs. They often give low commissions, offer a lack of support, and the products have horrible sales rates (meaning you might have to send thousands of visitors to earn anything).

On the other hand, a good program is responsive to your questions, pays generously, and has good banners, emails, and other ads already created for you. You just copy and paste.

A number of these programs can be found in affiliate directories, such as:

When you go to these directories, there is one main factor you should look for… you’re going to have the most success with a product most relevant to what your website visitors want.

For instance, if you have a music website for unsigned artists, then you should promote a course that shows artists how to get signed.

If you’re site covers the topic of starting a record label, then you should promote an affiliate program on how to start a record label.

Do you see why? These are the products your visitors are most likely to buy. Finding a relevant product versus promoting unrelated products means the difference between generating sales by only referring 25 visitors or 10,000 to get a sale.

It’s vital to offer a product your customers desperately want.

After you’ve found this most targeted product for your visitors, email subscribers, or customers, then you need to pick a program that’s going to make you money.

This means in most cases you’re not going to want to even deal with a product that only pays a few percent of the profit. No matter how good the other aspects are, it’s going to be hard to make much with low commissions.

In addition, the program should also be responsive to you. You can test a program by sending in a question.

If you get a quick response, then you know the program is most likely on top of all issues surrounding the affiliate program. It’s not just there for the sake of having an affiliate program.

Finally, the product you promote should solve a burning problem your customer has. For instance, if your website visitors are interested in getting their music heard, then the product you offer should solve this burning problem.

Simply put, by affiliate programs are a great way to make easy cash from your websites. The only challenge you face is finding a good one!

Understanding Affiliate Marketing - What's it All About?

Most people who encounter the phrase, affiliate marketing, are puzzled as to what it means. "What's affiliate marketing?" they ask. It's a question I'm often asked when I tell people what I do for a living. Most seem interested but have only a very vague idea of what affiliate marketing is. It may be that you've heard of affiliate marketing from a friend and perhaps also is wondering what exactly it means. In which case, read on, I'll attempt to explain it as well as I can. After this explanation of what affiliate marketing is,you may want to give it a try.

Affiliate Marketing- what it is

Put simply, in affiliate marketing you promote other people's products, and if,after reading your promotion, a person buys the product you promote, you'll earn a percentage of the purchase price. It's simple, isn't it? It's certainly simple, but some get confused over the phrase, affiliate marketing. Some people think that they need to come up with their own product and sell it to others, or that they need to buy the product first and then sell it for a profit. Both are not true.

What is true is that many businesses and individuals are looking for people to promote their products. They want to sell, as quickly and as many of their products as possible, and one of the best and most cost-efficient ways for them to do this is through affiliate marketers. The affiliate marketers promote the product, through their websites, articles ,or through word of mouth,etc.. People, after reading,or after hearing of the promotions, may then buy the product. For the promotional work done, the affiliate marketer gets a slice of the purchase price.

How Does it Work?

In a nut shell, affiliate marketing works like this: Register yourself in an affiliate marketing program, eg, Clickbank. Then hunt around for products to promote. Select a product, (or products, depending how many you're comfortable with promoting), and then start promoting it. Take note of the special URL you're given for each product and ensure that this URL is inserted in the webpage or article where the promotion is done. This special URL ensures that you'll get your commission when someone buys the product through your webpages or articles. The manner in which you promote the product is entirely up to you. Most do their promotions through their websites or through articles submitted to article directories.

How much can I earn?

The answer to this question depends on a few variables. It depends on how well you do the promotion, and also what percentage of the purchase price the merchant, (ie the seller of the product), gives you, the affiliate marketer. Some marketers earn only $25 a day, others about $2000 a day. It's conceivable that they would be others who'll be making considerably more than $2000 a day. All that needs to be done, is have a winning formula, either by design, trial and error, or stumbled upon by accident,etc..and then simply repeat the winning formula over many websites, articles, etc...Generally, your earnings would be proportionate to the time and effort you put into affiliate marketing.

How easy is it to enter into this business of affiliate marketing?

A few years back, say five, it would be difficult to do. However, now, with so much software in the market that facilitates web page designs, so many article directories to submit articles to, so many social networks around, with so much user friendly internet infrastructure developed, affiliate marketing is easy to get into. But the key to success lies not only without, but within a person. How much perseverance, persistence, willingness and ability to learn the person possesses.

That way, you can easily market the product since you believe in it personally. It would be easier to convince potential customers to purchase something that you're also using.

Now that you've signed up for a mobile phone affiliate program, it is now time to focus your attention in creating an affiliate website. Usually, affiliate programs provide some sort of help to new affiliates through promotional tools like web banners and texts ads. You can already use these tools to start your webpage. You have to create a site that is user-friendly and it should contain as many links as possible. You can create related blog posts and articles to attract more traffic to your website. There are still other key elements that you should know in order to succeed in the affiliate business. Mobile phones are not hard to sell,; it's all about proper advertising and your convincing power.

Mobile phone affiliate marketing can guarantee your success in the home-business industry. If you don't have a job at present, why not sign up for an affiliate program? There are already so many affiliates online and if you want to end up on top, you should be willing to work hard and you should also be patient, dedicated, and motivated all the way.

How to Make Big Money With Music Affiliate Programs

Music is everything. If you have music traffic, you need a music product. There are 3 different musical industries with incredible potential; Music lessons and instruments, Mp3s and Cds, and Musical performances. All three of these industries have incredible affiliate programs, promise millions of queries, hundreds of thousands of sales and most important: The ability to create incredibly profitable relationships with your customers.

One customer could potentially do business with you forever! Customers collect music, lessons, instruments and more, promising a possible life long shopping spree. If you are going to promote musical products, the affiliate program should be maximized, meaning every customer becomes a repeat customer.

More than often, music affiliate programs are a one time, front end offer, and they do not generate any more sales once the transaction goes through. A good offer should have a back-end amount on the inside and/or continue to pay you after the person signs up.

People who download music will continue to buy music, so it is important for your merchant to have more to sell the customer later on, after the initial sale.

People who play music will need new equipment, instruments, lessons, tips, tricks, and then purchase tickets to shows and manufacture the music they make.

The average person spends hundreds of dollars a year on music Cds or Mp3s, and some studio musicians spend thousands a year on musical instruments, sounds, beats, software and more.

Sometimes a person or a band will have cds made of their bands recording, and they will spend $5,000 or more on it! If you want to spend alot of time as an affiliate promoting music affiliate programs, guess what? You have made a seriously good choice.

The first thing you need to do is have a look at the different keywords with the google keyword tool. Try out terms like "musical instruments," "music store," "download mp3's" "music software," "instrumentals," "sounds," "music tickets," and so on. Take a look through all of the sub-keywords that you may find. Sometimes the smaller niches can convert like mad.

There are a few niches that are easy and affordable to promote, and these do get significant traffic. "rap beats" for one is affordable, high converting, and best of all it has maximum potential for repeat customers. There are a few music affiliate programs for hip hop beats and instrumentals where you will see high conversions, big payouts and alot of traffic.

"Music production" is another big time seller. The people who purchase music production software or lessons, spend alot of money every year on average. For instance, one buyer will purchase a membership to a website that re-bills every month and he will keep the membership for two years and pay them $680 total! This same guy will purchase $500 of sounds from another website, then purchase a $1600 keyboard from a music store online. Music is big business.

The name of the game is money when you are looking for an affiliate program. Simply give the merchant a call and find out what the average payout per customer is. What will you most likely average from them? Promote the music affiliate program that makes you the most money. It does not matter if the niche has a huge amount of traffic but low conversions, or if it has a large payout with less traffic. If it makes you the most money, promote it over the others. You can also take into account where the traffic is coming from, if you have a longer period of time with that niche or you trust a certain merchant more than another or they make your life easier as well.

Like other affiliate programs, a typical payout for a digital product is 50% to 70%. Physical products are around 7%. 10% would be great, especially if you are selling $20,000 products! Remember that re-billing can be great, but you need to make sure it's got a good conversion, because without the initial sale, there will be no one to re-bill!

If you have traffic that converts mp3 download sites with one payout, your probably doing it for the heavy amount of traffic. Sometimes a coupon deal can help you gain that edge over the competition, or have a bonus that the merchant has agreed to. Perhaps make a few sales first to show the merchant you mean business.

Below is the Affiliate that I use:

Affiliate Marketing Tips - Are You Making These Critical Mistakes?

Affiliate marketing is a funny animal. On the one hand, there's not a lot of work involved because the product and sales page, and in many cases, the ads, are all done for you. All you have to do is promote. It doesn't get easier than that. On the other hand, you're competing with a lot of other affiliates promoting the same product, which can be a real challenge if you're not a big name marketer. This article is going to point out several critical mistakes that you could be making. Check to see which ones are on your critical list.

Probably the worst mistake that affiliate marketers make is heading over to the Clickbank marketplace and looking for the hottest product they can find to promote. You might be wondering how this can be a mistake. After all, the product is already selling, so what's the problem? The problem is, if the product is the top selling product, that means there are hundreds, if not thousands of affiliates promoting it. This kind of competition can kill a beginner marketer.

Then we get to the issue of the ads. As I said above, in many cases, the merchant will have ads provided for you to use. So how can this be bad? Well, think about it. If every affiliate is using the same ads provided by the merchant, how does anybody stand out? The answer is, nobody stands out. Making a sale is nothing but a crap shoot because your ad doesn't distinguish you from the other affiliates. So, if you want to make any headway as an affiliate marketer, stop using the canned ads.

Finally, there's advertising itself, or more specifically the methods of advertising that most affiliates use, especially those just starting out. This is another example of the herd mentality. Somebody starts spouting the gospel according to John Doe and every marketer in existence is using his marketing method. Nobody uses any originality and the marketplace is saturated with the same garbage. It's like a sea of conformity. Well, if you want to make real progress, you have to think outside the box and use methods that everybody else in the world isn't beating to death.

If you can avoid making these critical mistakes, you'll give yourself a decent chance of becoming a successful affiliate marketer.

Beginning Affiliate Marketing Tips

Affiliate marketing programs are a great way to earn money online and a great introduction to e-commerce. You leverage products and services from others to make a profit.

"Affiliate marketing programs are the process when a company offers to pay you either a set amount for a click through from your website, or a set amount for visitors signing up, or even a percentage of a purchase made by visitors as a result of being referred from your website."

Even if visitors don't make a purchase immediately, almost all programs offer cookie duration, normally consisting of 30 - 90 days. What this means is that as long as the visitors have the cookie in their cache, you'll still receive a profit from the sale.

You still need to create some kind of traffic using your affiliate links to make the sales. The good part is that there are ways to generate traffic without the need for your own website or domain.

One time thief is searching for and investigating possible affiliate programs. Online companies like Clickbank and Commission Junction make your work much easier as they have compiled large amounts of publishers that would like people like you to help sell their products and services.

The most commonly used source for affiliate marketing is probably Clickbank. They offer a special interface for locating good affiliate programs, the marketplace. But it is a bit too rigid in what it offers to really allow for the powerful searches and number crunching needed to pick the top affiliate programs you should promote.

A product like CB Affiliate Revenue makes your life as an affiliate marketer working with Clickbank much easier, and it will save you a lot of time that would be better spent on other moneymaking tasks.

Affiliate tracking can also be a problem. Once you have applied to become an affiliate for a company, they'll usually supply you with a personalized link or code. It's very important that you implement this code into your page correctly, or you may be sending visitors to the company without receiving any profit. CB Affiliate Revenue will help you do this when working with Clickbank.

A majority of snippets in the code will contain a unique user ID, which the company uses to distinguish which site sent traffic.

Make sure you take notes when you find a good affiliate program. Write down were you found it, when you started to use it, any login information you may need to get back to your affiliate information, your affiliate ID (and/or urls) and where you use the link to send prospects to the publisher.

You will need all this information further on in your affiliate marketing career; and as the number of affiliate programs you join increases, so does the risk of forgetting where it came from.

My Product Center Review - Are These Autopilot Money Making Websites a Scam?

Have you heard of My Product Center, but you are wondering whether the so-called automated money making websites are for real? I know that the sound of merchants selling websites that make money is very suspicious, and I seriously doubted My Product Center site initially. After purchasing the websites offered by the site, I have discovered that it really works using the principles of affiliate marketing.

How Do You Make Money With The Websites?

Basically, you will download the websites and change some links within the sites. This is so that you will be credited with a commission for every sale that you generate through your site. The work that you will have to do involve driving targeted traffic to your site, something which the product owner has further explained on My Product Center site.

Features of My Product Center's Websites

1. Good Quality Content Offered to Visitors and Improved Conversion Rates

The role of your website is not to sell the product directly to the customers, but to presell them. This means that your site provides information regarding the product that the consumers have been looking at and thinking about buying. When the visitor finally makes the purchase using the links on your site, you will be credited with 50% to 75% of the sales price.

2. Strong Presell to the Product Promoted

I am impressed with the quality of My Product Center's websites and the content that they have pre-written into the site. It takes off all the work and time that you would have to commit if you were to create the sites yourself. With the information provided on the sites, my website visitors become more likely to buy the products that are promoted.

Writing a Profitable EBook - The 6 Major Categories

Ebooks come in all types and sizes, but they tend to be based in one of six categories. How-to eBooks tend to do very well, but people are actively searching for additional information in each of these categories on a regular basis. Depending on your interests and level of knowledge and expertise, you may want to take a look at which category your eBook will fall into. This will help you to determine the exact needs of your target market. Here are the six major categories of eBooks that are the most popular on the internet.

1 - Business and Money-Making - This category has to do with helping people to start a business or make money doing something that you know how to do. Perhaps you have been in a career for a number of years or have owned a part-time business. You have specialized knowledge that can be valuable for others who are interested in doing something similar to make money. Even if you are no longer actively involved in this type of career or business, you still have the ability to write about your experience and share it with other people.

2 - Health, Well-being, and Fitness - If you have survived an illness, are currently dealing with a life-threatening disease, or have achieved results in an area related to health, your experience will be of interest to others. Even if it is not you that has gone through the experience, but someone close to you instead, many people will want to know exactly what you know that will be helpful and beneficial to them and their situation.

3 - Hobbies, Sports, Collectibles, and Recreation - Anything you can imagine that someone might be interested in, this is the category where it will probably go. Some examples are scrapbooking, hang gliding, model trains, and tennis. The more specific you can be about your topic, the more interested the people will be who are also looking for information on the internet.

4 - Politics, Religion, and Society - Again, these are areas where people can become quite involved. This is also a difficult category to monetize many times, because of the large quantity of information available online for free. Make sure your information is relevant and will give the reader beneficial information.

5 - Self-improvement - This category is becoming more popular as people become more aware of what is available to them. Sharing your own experiences and success will help you to become well known in this arena.

6 - Family and Relationships - Anything to do with interpersonal relationships falls under this category. You can write your own ticket if you are a coach or consultant, or simply want to help others in the area that you choose to specialize in.

Spend some time thinking about how your eBook will fall into one of these categories. Then do your research and begin writing. You will be on your way to building a successful and profitable online business.

How to Find the Best Keywords For Your EBook Titles and Sales

If you are going to write or create an ebook, you need to do the research first to make sure you are writing about something people want to purchase and to maximize your ability to make sales. Otherwise, you are just wasting your time!.

This includes finding a target market that is hungry for what you have to offer and doing a keyword search to see what keywords your target market is clicking on. Then using those keywords in your title and copy.

So how do you figure out what keywords to even look at?

I was once talking with Internet Guru Mark Hendricks at a conference and he said that the problem is that people go brain dead when they start trying to figure out what keywords to look up. Instead of thinking like a potential buyer they think like an Internet marketer trying to figure out how a buyer would think.

Two good places to find keywords are http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com and www.goodkeywords.com. But I really like the keyword tool in Google. Because it helps you generate keywords that you may not have thought of on your own. And it helps you get outside of the "Internet Marketer" box in your thinking.

You can find this tool at: www.adwords.google.com. You enter one keyword or phrase per line and then hit the "get keywords" button and it will generate more keywords for you. And, it saves time plus it's free!

So take the extra step, go the extra miles use the Google keyword tool and you will be generously rewarded with great keywords, higher page rank, and more ebook sales!

Pingoat is MISSING IN ACTION!

One of the best ways to promote your blog is by "pinging it," this is telling all the blog promotion sites that you have written something new and to add it to their searches...

Pingoat.com is my favorite, because you could set a link to automatically ping 100's of sites, if not more, but it has been down since July 1st. I'm just hoping that they come back better than ever!

Meantime you might want to try these alternative sites for your pinging traffic.

FeedShark - a less powerful alternative to Pingoat.com
Submit 'em Now!
- this is a powerful Firefox add on!

For more information download my free ebook below. After that, I hope you enjoy Vol. 2.

Which is better? Ebooks - Plain Or Fancy?

When you're writing and selling ebooks, do you really need all the trimmings? You may think that fancy graphics and ebook templates are vital, but my own research suggests that they're not. Information is what your buyers want.

I've been selling ebooks successfully online for years, and contrary to what some people will tell you, it's NOT necessary to create or buy fancy graphics and templates for your ebooks. In fact a gaudy template may lead to refund requests because the template makes the ebook impossible to read in comfort.

A couple of my bestsellers are plain PDF files, with text only. The sales pages for these ebooks are equally plain. I created the ebooks when I saw a need, so I wrote them and got them online and selling quickly.

Ebook Templates - the Latest Gaudy Trend - Can Lead to Increased Refunds

There's currently a trend online for ebook templates. These templates have images on the top and bottom of each page; sometimes they have background images for the page as well. Not only do the images make it hard to read the ebooks, because the graphics are distracting, these gaudy productions look horrible when printed.

It seems I'm not the only person who hates the new ebook templates trend.

One of my students recently published an ebook. I saw a draft of the material and though it was excellent - it provided great information.

However within a couple of weeks of publication I got a frantic email message from the student about her refund rate. I was shocked, because I thought the material was great. I asked her to send me a copy.

I saw what the problem was immediately. She'd used a gaudy template. Someone had told her that using an image laden template was "more professional."

I advised her to publish the ebook as a plain PDF ebook - without any template at all.

Her results? Once she'd published the new version: not a single refund request.

When you sell an ebook, you're selling information. Your buyers neither want nor need fancy graphics - all they want is the information you promise in your sales page.

So if you're new to ebook publishing, you may want to reconsider using graphics-heavy templates. Never use graphics unless they're an essential part of your offering.

The Ever Growing E-Book Industry

Books are a vast expanse of intellectual wealth. They are informative and helpful. They are man's next best friends, next to dogs. People who are talented and can write, need to experiment with book writing. It is beneficial to you and the reader, as you are adding one more book to this already existing sea of knowledge, "Books".

There was a time, when books passed through a long and costly process, termed as printing and production. These processes would push up your investment after adding other expenses for increased sales promotions and marketing strategies. In an e-book, printing and production is not required, thus saving money. Also, what you would have spent on getting latest marketing strategies and paying for a great sales team is also avoided, thus saving money. Hence, this is one of the main reasons for an increase in e-books, since so much money is saved.

Even printers lay down certain conditions. They will only print 500 or 2,000 copies, depending on how big the business is. You will never be able to choose less then these numbers, as they will refuse you outright. So, you end up paying for 500 or 2,000 copies, even if you were not sure whether all copies will sell.

E-books is a good way for you to save a lot of money. You do not need to shell out exorbitant sums of money. The e-book way is still a new born way, yet to catch on. It is really a new concept and will take time to get a hold onto the market. But, it is a cheap and inexpensive way to sell or promote your e-book, compared to a hardcover book. So, I advise you to convert and go the e-book way.

We have seen a huge advancement in technology, which has made the e-book a possibility. The Internet is a fantastic way to get to people. It makes it easier to deliver information to those who are looking for it. There are hundreds of people out there, who are looking for e-information, with regard to their businesses and occupations. For example, if you run a wedding shop, you could create an e-book, giving tips on how to organize a wedding. Whether they want to get married or are people who are into event management, this book would help both kinds of people. Have your links available, through your own websites or through friends' websites, so people can get to your e-book and use it as a reference.

Understand the needs of people, before you take the plunge. But have courage and strength, you will need them and a whole lot of patience as well. When you actually start making a good profit from your e-books, you will feel completely satiated. Take a plunge into the unknown, as one day, e-books are going to become a rage. And you will be reaping the corn, golden corn!

Keith's Online Business Do's and Dont's

Data Entry products offered on the Internet seem to be making a come back. These are not a real online business, in my opinion. You can not just put some ads up on Google AdWords and then watch the money roll in, it just does not happen. That's what the authors of data entry e-books would have you believe. You'll just end up with a huge Google AdWords bill at the end of the month and also could get penalized by Google for not being in the best interest of its customers. Most, if not all, of these Data Entry e-books are basically using Clickbank.com or Paydot.com to find a product you think will sell and advertising it on Google AdWords. The Data Entry they speak of are the ads you put on sponsor links of a search page. Data Entry products say you find something you think will sell on Clickbank.com, do PPC (Pay Per Click) advertising and collect your commission when you make a sale.

This is the essence of affiliate marketing. The problem is that it takes 100 clicks on your ad on average to make a sale. So you need keywords, words people use to search with that cost very little to bid on so people click on and be taken to the sales page. But these low cost keywords do not get as many searches as the higher priced keywords. If you're only making $10 to $50 commission per sale but paying $.50 to $1.00 per click and it takes 100 clicks, well do the math. No one can stay in business especially an online business for long that way. I recommend staying away from these Data Entry e-books. I might go as far as to call them a scam. That's because they offer no real training or support after you buy one. If you want to learn affiliate marketing there are very many good products out there. You can even learn virtually all you need to know for free. Just do some searching for affiliate marketing or making money online information. Search all the variations you can think of for making money.

Try online business, how can I make money, Internet marketing even data entry. Read anything you find with information about Internet marketing and making money online. Soon you'll know more that you ever would have by buying a Data Entry e-book for $20.00 and could save yourself hundreds of dollars.

I recommend a program that has a product that is in demand. That has a real training program and full support without limitations. Something you can use and begin to make money right away. An online business that is affordable to join and comes with everything you need to be successful. Check it out at my link to the right - "The Ultimate eBook Inventory." I know you'll agree it's the best thing online business on the market today.

Check back often as I will be doing more reviews of online business and Internet marketing programs and e-books.

Why Authors Should Consider Ebook Writing For Greater Success and Wealth

The Internet has provided so many opportunities from fashion designers to promote their products to aspiring writers a chance to publish their own written works through ebook writing. Here are some of the reasons why more and more authors are now considering creating ebooks:

1. You can choose the topic

Ebook writing allows you to write materials on a wide variety of subjects to allow you to find your perfect niche and eventually concentrate your future writing projects on.

2. Working at your own pace to create best-sellers

Even the top New York Times best selling authors tend to experience a case of writer's block. Unfortunately, since publishing companies requires them to complete a specific number of works within a certain amount of time causing them to be among the top best-selling authors in the country one minute and then a disappointment the next. Since you do not have to sign a contract to get into ebook writing, you can always write your own pace and make sure that each ebook you write will be of top quality.

3. You get most of the earnings

When you sell your ebook writing project online, you get to keep to keep most, or if not all, of the revenues.

4. Create other opportunities to earn more income

One perfect method would be affiliate marketing where you let other people to do the marketing for you. Not only would you be able to increase your sales and profits, but you would also provide other people legitimate work opportunities.

A Review of the Janglefish Income Opportunity

If you are looking for interesting opportunities in terms of network marketing, you'll soon find that opportunities with unique products will catch your eye. With the now-defunct company Janglefish, that was streaming music online. Janglefish was an opportunity that allowed users to download their favorite songs for a low price online, something that many people find attractive and convenient. However, the company did close due to issues with mismanagement of funds and there are many who accused the management of this system with withholding information from the representatives.

Janglefish did quite well for an extended length of time, offering a attractive bonuses and compensation plan for sales and recruitment. This opportunity had a classic network marketing plan set up, and with this in mind, the people who profited from this venture were well connected in terms of family and friends. Moreover, they could easily network out and look for other people with similar interests. There was the possibility of putting their information out there on their blogs and the sites that they frequented, bringing others to this opportunity.

The Janglefish name itself, with its attractive sound and memorable quality, was derived from the word "jangle," which refers to a loud, discordant sound, and "fish" in the sense of to search for. Essentially, this described the process of working with this company as a customer. If you had a song that you were looking for, you could simply log in and try to find it. Everything from the popular songs to the truly obscure ones could be found in the directories, making it a popular choice for people who mostly kept their music on their computers.

The Janglefish opportunity was one that snowballed very quickly. There was a sign-up fee that Music Retailers were required to pay and then they were encouraged to start selling the site to their friends and connections, as well as recruiting other Music Retailers. As can be seen, there was a good deal of interest in this opportunity. Not only were people interested in getting the music themselves, there were several exciting compensation plans that included trips and other big-ticket items.

The main criticism that this company endured before it's collapse was that it continued selling memberships and Retailer sign up fees after they were aware that the company was going to fail. This angered many in the community, both in terms of customers and in terms of Retailers.

If you are interested in the musical setup offered by Janglefish, there are several other similar MLM opportunities out there that can help you get started. Take a look around, an remember that you should check out any opportunity thoroughly.

Anyway before you join this try to find a supportive upline member willing to go the distance with you when you need personal assistance. Make sure they are around when you need a three way call. And make sure they have at least some rudimentary computer skills. If they don't, your business could be in for a long, tough road.

Search Engine Marketing... Are You Striking The Right Chord?

Search engine marketing represents only 3% of all funds spent, yet generates 70% of all leads”. A catchy headline such as this in your newspaper or on a website is enough to spark you into action. As a proactive entrepreneur, you are likely to waste no time in inquiring about advertising design agencies or web marketing firms in your local yellow pages or over the net, compare rates and pick one to handle your internet marketing.

However, soon you find out that your website is up and running but as far as bringing in business is concerned, you have nothing to write home about. Now you start wondering about the whether the figures quoted in the report were cooked or you did something wrong.
So what went wrong, where?

Only one in 10 websites do it right

Research associated with web marketing reveals there are more than 10 million websites of which approximately 60% are commercial. Yet, less than 10% of these follow the right steps to make the web work for them.

As an entrepreneur you can draw two important inferences from these statistics. First, despite there being millions of websites, you need to worry only about a few of your competitors.

Second, when most of the web marketers still groping in dark you have the fair chances to carving a niche for your products or services by taking smart web marketing steps.

A strategic plan to launch your product or service on the web is the backbone of your web marketing efforts. To set up a website was your immediate goal and you did it on time. But the key to its success lies in the question, how you have done that and what next? If you want to grow and use internet to generate business for you then you need to harness the potentiality of this e-platform smartly.

Need for targeted traffic

Attractive design, crisp and compelling copies, easy navigation, well planned graphical illustration and most importantly creating strong brand image are some of the most important aspects that goes behind architecting a successful website.

But the task doesn’t ends here. What next? Think why people are ready to pay exorbitant rates for buying an office space or shop in busy commercial area. The same rule applies here. You need to have traffic on your website to make it work. Now ‘traffic’ again is a little vague unless I prefix the word ‘target’ to it. You need ‘targeted traffic’ on your website.

Internet advertising revenues exceeded $5.2 billion for the third quarter of 2007, representing a 25.3% increase and $1.1 billion increase over Q3 2006.

The figures simply suggest advertisers and marketers have started realizing web as a powerful medium of advertising. If your web is not working for you then you need to find an interactive advertising agency that provides full array of web development services along with marketing solutions. This can help you to:
• Increase online traffic
• Increase conversion
• Dominate your competition
• Lower client acquisition cost
• Earn fast measurable ROI
• Broaden market share

Five vital checkpoints for choosing an advertising and marketing firm

Can’t finish this piece without a word of caution! Choosing an interactive advertising agency is not something to be done in haste.

** Study their work expertise to find out what kind of specialized services they offer – it is always preferable to opt for an agency that offers end to end web development and marketing services.

** Check out the portfolio of the agency or firm (most have their work on display online).

** Find out whether they give guaranteed search engine rankings for targeted keywords or not.

** Browse the About Us pages to know the people behind the company, their experience and expertise.

** Cross check testimonials to ensure whether the company enjoys a satisfied client base.

Search engine marketing is exploding and so are the incomes from it. If your equations right, there will be no looking back for you!

Powerful Proven Online Advertising Methods That Won't Break the Bank

Tried and True Sure-Fire Powerhouse Methods To Jumpstart Your Recruiting Efforts, And better yet, they are free.

Building your Network Marketing or home based business requires advertising, but if you are like me, you ventured into this lucrative market because you needed to earn more money not spend it.

The experience I had when first starting out was not pleasant. It seemed that every time I turned around, I had to re-invest the little bit of money I had earned to advertise for more clients, and in the end, I just wasn't getting ahead. I was going broke.

If you are not careful, you can spend your hard earned profit, before it has been earned.

There simply is no way to get ahead and turn profitable if you have to spend your hard earned money on advertising, especially when you are just venturing out.

How do you get ahead, if you can't keep up with the "big boys"?

The best way to get started with advertising is to utilize every free resource that is available on the internet. I would caution you to stay away from ad blasters and "safe - lists" because you will spin your wheels. It just isn't efficient to send your email message to lists that don't get read, and what's worse, you'll end up getting a ton of spam email, and phone calls from people trying to sell you their product.

What you need is a step by step guide to show you how to build your business without spending a ton of money to get results.

Here is how I did it, and saw incredible results with my travel website. I have been able to utilize these techniques with great success, and the results have been so good, that I have passed these techniques down to my downline, and have watched them duplicate the results I have achieved.

After months of due diligence and research, I identified free advertising sources that I could track for results, and made a goal to reinvest a portion of my earnings into affordable, low cost advertising mediums.

The following two tips are advertising methods that I incorporated into my advertising strategy. These methods cost me nothing, and as I began to make money, I diligently reinvested a portion toward budgeted advertising campaigns, being sure to track my results for each paid advertising campaign.

Two free tips that you can implement right away:

Tip #1

Utilize Your Email Signature and create a viral ad campaign.

There is no better way to utilize all of the forwarded jokes, email offers, and outright spam that you receive than to send them a "bounce back" email with your signature. A good example of this would be:

Wishing you happiness and success in life,
Alecia Barnes
Advertise your business without breaking the bank...
http://www.yourwebsiteaddress.com/

Send this to everyone that sends you an email, as a reply. Turn that spam into cash!

Tip #2

Free Classified Ad Sites

Do a search on Google for free classified ads, and submit your classified ad message. I would advise you not to use your main email account if you do this, so look into a free email account prior to placing your ads. This will get some response if you do the research and place your ads in front of the right audience. A couple of the sites that I use are Adlandpro , Epage Classifieds as well as Inetgiant classifieds.

This is a completely free resource, so stay focused, and don't spend money!

In summary, the key to getting your business to the next level is to generate some cash flowing back to you.

The two tips I have outlined are just the tip of the iceberg for free resources, but, starting small will allow you to master these techniques. Look for part two in the upcoming weeks.

Blending Social Networks and Network Marketing

Social Networking is now becoming more prevalent in the internet world as websites are becoming dinosaurs of the past. 4 Ways to Win in Affiliate Marketing

What do you think? Is it easy to win in affiliate marketing?

As difficult as inventing the light bulbs, Thomas Edison still managed to push it out to the public. So, it might be difficult to win in the business but it is definitely possible.
All you need to win in affiliate marketing is to have the determination and aggressive strategies.

1. Stick to your plan

Having a plan to win in affiliate marketing is one thing but sticking to the plan is another.

When things become tough, a lot of affiliate marketers get thrown off their track and they will scramble around looking for solution. And that often distract them from their original plan.

If you are not getting enough traffic from pay per click (PPC), try to increase your quality score to help reduce your cost. Changing your method to search engine optimization (SEO) might cost you more time and money.

2. Go the extra mile

As long as you are serious and work hard to build your business, your chances of winning in affiliate marketing are very bright.

Spend at least 2-3 hours daily in your business. Learn the basics of the industry and apply what you learn. However, you might still run into problem that was hardly an issue for someone else.

What can you do then?

One of the extra things you can do is to ask your questions in forums. Forums are like communities which every member help each other out and sharing their knowledge on the topic.

3. Create your reputation

There are a lot of affiliate marketers online. Some of them are professionals, earning 5 figures a month and some of them are still struggling to bring in money to pay their hosting service.

If you want to win in affiliate marketing, you need to create your reputation online. One of the ways to help increase your reputation online is to write more articles like this and submit them to various article directories online. This then help to establish you as an expert in the topic.

4. Understand the competition

Like what you have read just now, there are a lot of affiliate marketers online and these affiliate marketers are your competitors. If you want to win in the affiliate marketing business, you need to understand your competitors' activities.

You can visit their website and blog, learn how they craft their sales letter and blog post. You can also subscribe to some of the affiliate marketers list and see how they make their offer to you. Read their guide and ebook and look for the differences among your competitors.

Your job at the beginning of affiliate marketing is not to win over your competitors as that might be more difficult than climbing the Mount Everest. Just observe what your competitors are doing and apply what is working for them.

The first thing to win in affiliate marketing is to have the right guide and the next is to have someone to show you what you need to do to earn your affiliate marketing income. Find out what more you can learn from:

How You Can Use Quality Ebook Cover Designs to Add More Cash to Your Bottom Line

The quality of your ebook cover designs is absolutely important to increase sales. A dry, lousy and unprofessional looking ecover design will ultimately damage your credibility rather than boost it. If you have the creative ability of a graphic designer who has a good eye for design, then you can easily utilize specialized software packages for creating ebook covers and other web images.

One vital point to note is, when using specialized ebook cover software, you have to have some graphical talent. Combining the right layout, images and color combination is something you should be able to do easily without any stress. If you're not an experienced designer, leave the job to a professional.

There are several ways to create quality ebook cover designs, regarding the:

1. Fonts:
a. Use bold readable fonts especially for the title of your book.
b. Be aware that many fonts don't look good in the small size required for book covers. Arial, Futura and Impact are good fonts for ebook cover designs.

d. Make your fonts stand out with shadow and outline.

b. You can find quality royalty-free graphics at istockphotos.com for a reasonable fee, the largest subscription-based collection of images that provides millions of downloadable images.
c. Make use of photographs often, they work well for ebook cover designs.
d. Use quality images that blend with your sales message so as to create professional and quality ebook cover designs that will increase your overall market conversion rate.

A Thirst For Ebooks?

With storage / memory cards readily available to suit any digital device you could store books, paperwork, in fact almost any sort of data quite easily for reading / accessing on your PDA, laptop & even mobile phones whilst you are away, at work or on holiday. By doing this you will dramatically reduce the weight of your luggage if you are flying on vacation or to work by minimizing the amount of books, or even paperwork for that matter in your suitcase.

I'm not sure if the airports have strict guidelines everywhere regarding luggage weight, but here in the UK I hear of holidaymakers having to pay out excess luggage fines or charges out of their holiday money, (there goes one round of drinks at the bar!) but almost everyone would have access to some kind of storage device & most people carry them everywhere they go, sometimes maybe even without realizing it.

Another plus side to this way of storage / transportation is the fact that we are not using valuable resources by utilizing the paper, (dead tree) alternative. I must admit, I am a little biased towards people preferring ebooks, (not tree books) but both I and my wife are both small time echo warriors, or should I say worriers?

So there it is, something else for you to ponder over before going on vacation / holiday, (yes, I did use vacation & holiday purposefully in the 1st paragraph to keep everyone happy) and don't forget, always check the weight limits & your luggage weight before you leave or you may end up going thirsty!

Affiliate Marketing on the Internet - Discover 5 Steps to Online Success

The information regarding ways of making money online has been overcomplicated. The act of succeeding at it is much more challenging than the actual process. Just like anything else in life you need to give a lot of effort and time especially if you lack the financial investment. Affiliate marketing on the Internet is a wonderful way to earn an income and the best way to learn the business.

Here are 5 steps you should take to begin your path to becoming a successful affiliate marketer:

  1. Decide on a product or service - find a quality product or service that you can proudly promote and gives you an excellent chance of earning an above average and consistent income. I suggest you consider promoting monthly paid membership sites. Membership site owners often give affiliates a percentage of the monthly payments from the customers you referred. This is a solid way to establish a sustaining income.

  2. Establish an online presence - competition will be fierce and more than likely you will be promoting a lot of the products that other people are. You need to set yourself apart from competitors by creating a strong presence to potential customers. You need to have your own blog and/or website. You need to join social network sites. You need to capture the name and addresses of the prospects your refer to you merchants.

  3. Build a list - as previously mentioned you need to capture name and email addresses of the people you are sending to your merchant’s websites. If you don’t you will lose out on any future earnings from those customers. If you are lucky you may find an affiliate programs that pays you lifetime commissions on purchases made by the people you referred but you don’t want to rely on that. If you build your own list of subscribers you can build a relationship with them and promote other things to them in the future.

  4. Be good to your list - now that you have a list going don’t bombard them with sales pitch after sales pitch. You want your prospects to trust you and it is much more financially smart to gain their trust by offering quality and solid content. Give them some free stuff from time to time. Send them surveys and find out what they need and find ways to give it to them. Create your own products and services and promote it to your list. This will save you tons of money in advertising.

  5. Remain on target - affiliate marketing on the Internet can put some good money in your pocket, but in this business you have to remain targeted to become successful. You have to generate targeted traffic, because it is much easier to promote to people who are actually interested in what you have to sell. Also, stay the course and avoid jumping from one affiliate program to the next. Stay focused!

A Side Note: Branding For Golf Tournaments

When on a golf course or watching a golf tournament one might notice many branded products. Imprinted golf towels, shirts, visors, caps and golf bags are some of the more popular promotional items seen at golf tournaments. The main point to consider when branding for a golf tournament is that the brand should always yield to the game. Golf tournament sponsors can imprint their name and logo on many of the branded products in a way that still appears classy.

When making a check list of promotional items for a golf tournament do not forget the basic products. Golf tees, ball markers, divot repair tools and of course imprinted golf balls. People generally expect to receive these items at a golf tournament. However, avoid purchasing the cheapest imprinted golf balls, tee packs and ball markers because they are not likely to give you an exceptional promotion. The more imprinted golf items you distribute does not necessarily mean your brand will receive more coverage. Actually, offering low quality promotional items can be a big mistake. You do not want your potential customers to perceive your promotion as being cheap. If you offer people low quality items, they are more likely to think that your service is less professional. Therefore, use quality promotional items to promote your corporate image at every golf tournament.

In addition to the basic golf promotional item, a tournament sponsor should provide golfers with new items they do not normally receive at golf tournaments. Although the basic products are a necessity at a golf tournament, sponsors need to go beyond the traditional golf items. For example, imprinted duffel bags, clothing bags and luggage make great prizes at golf tournaments. Sponsors do not want to move away from the traditional imprinted golf products however, add a non golf promotional product will have a positive impact on the golfers at tournament.

Staff volunteers are as important and golf tournaments as the golfers. Providing the volunteers with useful promotional items benefits the people helping at the tournament as well as the sponsors. Items such as imprinted golf umbrellas, embroidered golf shirts, golf jackets, visors and caps will be appreciated by volunteer staff. Imprinted golf umbrellas make great advertising vehicles for the sponsors and protect the staff and volunteers from the sun and/or rain. People will most likely wear the golf apparel long after the tournament, thus displaying the corporate logo often. Remember to thank the staff volunteers; they will appreciate the gifts and sponsors will appreciate the branding of their logos.

As the popularity of golf in the corporate world increases, the number of golf-related promotional products available increases as well. When planning your next golf tournament remember the conventional golf items like shirts, hats, golf towels, golf tees and logo golf balls. In addition, consider the importance of giving “non golf,“ merchandise such as duffel bags, clothing bags and luggage Most importantly, give something unique and different. Your tournament sponsors and all participants deserve the best.

Beef Up That E-Book

So you’ve finished creating ebooks and you want to launch them to the world. Only one problem...it seems a little thin. The content is great, but you wish it had more "bulk".

Adding bulk to an ebook is a great way to increase customer satisfaction which leads to fewer refunds and higher profit margins- something people publishing ebooks have to think about. In fact, skimpy pdf ebooks are the number one reason people return information products. So how do you beef up your PDF e-books? How do you put your ebook on steroids and have it busting at the seams with value?

First, add a table of contents. I am always surprised at the number of ebooks that don’t have a simple table of contents. Not only will it help your customer find his way around, it also adds about 2-3 pages to your ebook!

Second, add a list of resources in the back. All of the web sites, blogs and forums you visited to research your ebook should be put in a resources section in the back. You can also put all of the print books that you find helpful as well. Face it. There are tons of resources dealing with the topic of your ebook that you know and your customers don’t. List those and you will provide a valuable service for them.

Here’s a short list of things you can put in the resources section:
- List of books on your topic
- List of magazines on your topic
- List on videos form YouTube on your topic
- List of web sites on your topic
- List of blogs, Yahoo groups and forums on your topic

If you really want to bulk up your resource section and make it valuable to your customers, then put a short description of each resource right under the link. Tell your reader why you like that resource and what it’s best used for. People don’t just want a link, they want to know how to use that link!

In my next article I will give you three more strategies to adding bulk to your ebook so you satisfy your customers and reduce your refund rate. Publishing ebooks with true value and lots of content is quite easy when you follow these strategies.

How to Create an E-book That Sells - Without Writing it Yourself

One of the most lucrative and simplest ways to make money on the internet is to sell e-books. But do you know how to create an e-book that sells while making the most out of your time?

If you love to write and are willing to wait for weeks (sometimes even months) before earning from your product, then go for it.

However, if you hate writing and you want to save a lot of time and effort, then this article will reveal some amazing ways on how to create an e-book that sells... without the hassles of creating it yourself.

Outsource the Job to a Qualified Ghostwriter.

Pro: You save time and effort. The rights to the product are exclusively yours.

Con: You have to pay hundreds, sometimes thousands, of dollars to have a high quality product created.

Isn’t it great how you can pay a ghostwriter once for writing an e-book, but you get to profit from his efforts for a lifetime? That’s how powerful hiring a ghostwriter is.

Simply post a project at elance.com, guru.com, or any of the other freelance sites, and many good writers will bid for the opportunity to do your project.

There might be a risk that the writer you hire would not know how to create an e-book that sells; that’s why you should evaluate him first. Read feedbacks from past clients. Assign him to write a few related articles first to determine if he’s fit to write an entire e-book for you. (You can use the articles later to promote the e-book).

You may provide him with details of the type of information you want to be included in the e-book, or you may give him full control over the content if you’re confident in his abilities.

Ask him to submit an outline or rough draft first, before giving him the go-signal to continue in writing the rest. You might also request that he send you the first few pages (even if unedited) when they’re done, to ensure that he’s doing it exactly the way you want it.

Compile Articles, Forum Posts, Templates, Stories, Etc.

Pro: Minimal or No Cost

Con: Time spent in compiling the materials and asking for permission.

Here’s how to create an e-book very easily. You can simply go to article directories and compile the best articles on a certain topic; but make sure the articles flow smoothly and in an organized manner. Make sure you give the authors credit by including the resource box.

You may gather templates or success stories. For example, some copywriting ebooks are a compilation of high-converting headlines, subheadlines, bullet points, etc.; and they sell quite well.

Another great method is to post on forums and to ask advice about your subject topic. You can then organize and gather all the answers to create an e-book. Just make sure that you have permission from the posters to include their content. Most would agree because it can help promote their business.

Interview Experts.

Pro: Minimal or No cost.

Con: Time spent preparing and doing the interview. You have to adjust to the expert’s schedule.

Here’s how to create an e-book by leveraging from the knowledge of experts. You simply ask an expert if you could interview him.

You can record the interview and make it an audio or video course. You can then hire someone to transcribe it so you can have an e-book. Now you have an e-book and audio/video package ready to make you some profits.

The expert would be delighted when you sell the package because it means more exposure for his business. Plus, you can give the resale rights of the product to the expert so he can also make some money from his efforts. It’s a win-win situation.

Ask Contributions from Different Experts.

Pro: Minimal or No Cost
Con: Time spent inviting contributors and managing the content. You have to adjust to the experts’ schedule.

You can ask many experts to fill out a questionnaire or interview them. Compile all the information into one product.

You can ask the contributors to promote the final product as an affiliate, or you can give resale rights to each of the contributors. It would mean extra exposure for you and all the contributors.

Now you know how to create an e-book without having to exert much effort. Once you have an e-book, you can hire someone to make an audio or video version and sell at a higher price (audio and video have higher perceived value). See how easy it is? All it takes is a little imagination, creativity, and action for you to succeed online.

Here is the Best option, technically - Buy my package of eBook content.

You get all the reseller’s rights - meaning you can add picture and content to make it yours and sell it online!

The Easiest Way For a Marketing Newbie to Make Money Online

Making money online is a growing trend - someone buys a fancy new computer and the first thing they search for online is "how to make money on the internet!". But most people who perform this search don’t know the first thing about making money.

If you want to make money online, then you should realize that you will need to spend money to make money. This philosophy holds true in the real world: successful businesses are successful because their owner has either spent significant money buying a solid business education or has learned through extensive "trial and error", or a combination of both.

If you want to earn money quickly, you might be better off finding a part time job; you will earn money without hard work and you can start making money right away. Part time jobs are easy to come by - just visit a local staffing agency and they will find you a job within a few days.

If you really want to profit online, you should know that you will not make money overnight. Successful marketers either invest a substantial amount of money into their online business or they invest countless hours into marketing their product or service (and when I mean countless, I mean it!)

Are you still reading this? If so, then maybe you are serious enough to give online marketing a worthwhile effort. There are a few basic ways to make money online:

Affiliate marketing - sell other people’s products and earn a commission based on the amount of the total sale. This is the most basic of online marketing, and every marketer has engaged in affiliate marketing at one time or another. Tip: pick products that are in high public demand and that are being aggressively marketed by other marketers.

Advertising space - If you own a popular website or blog, you can sell advertising space on it. You can sell direct ads for a flat rate (or "cost per impression fee"), or you can sell ad space and get "paid per click". Both are profitable and if you can command enough traffic, you can earn a substantial amount of money every month.

Sell your own products - this is easily accomplished by writing an ebook and then adding your book to an affiliate network. Your ebook will be promoted by other marketers and you will split the sales proceeds with the marketers. This is a great way to sell an ebook and you will earn money on auto-pilot *if* you can write a good book on a popular topic.

While there are a lot of ways to make money online, I can honestly say that writing an ebook is extremely profitable, mainly because you don’t need to be a professional marketer - you just need to be a strong writer and create a book on a popular topic.

I’ll be honest with you: online marketing is extremely tough. It takes work, work, and more work, and in most cases a decent amount of money to get things rolling. But, as I mentioned above, there is a way to circumvent this process and conveniently avoid it altogether: write a book and let professional affiliates sell it!
