Keith Brown - An Experience in Sales: On the Level
I used to be an Executive Recruiter. It was something that I enjoyed and I was surprisingly good at. My job was to "smooze" them - to try and get them to sign with a different company for more money. This is a surprisingly hard thing to do. These executives had a well bonded loyalty to their respected companies, and a change at this point in their lives just seemed foolish. Most executives were pushing 40, sometimes 50! I had a secret weapon; it worked every time - golf!
I hope you don’t mind me telling you a short story...
These executives are cocky; they're old, making lots of money (as is) and they have become comfortable with their everyday lives. These are three barriers that I have to break down before I can get anywhere or he accepts change.
I was taught that the first or the golden rule of sales is to listen and let them do the talking. So I did that, and in a way, all of my executives sold themselves on the new position; for the very same reason they were skeptical about taking a new job, making a change and starting over is the very reason they changed their minds - They're old!
At the time I was 21. The first thing an executive would say to me is something that always went a little like, "Why did they send the kid?" or "When is your dad getting here?" My favorite was, "They're hiring them young these days..." to which I would respond "Not in your case, I guess!"
It was game time! They are just there for the free round of golf. I was there to knock them down a peg and move on to the next. After all, they're there for 4 hours - plenty of time to talk someone down!
Normally when you smooze someone, your intention is to give them a false sense of confidence, make them feel good about themselves and try to evoke, what I call "the yes syndrome" - the goal being your sale or commission. Well, what do you do if they already feel good about themselves - cocky - with concrete shoes?
So, technically, my job is to "hack it up" and play my worst round of golf, so hopefully my dear executive will win (sometimes that doesn't even help) and stand tall, say something like, "Ya know kid? I'm starting to like you..." and the day will be saved - never happened. After the round, they would practically run to their cars, speed off, and never answer your calls again - a big "one finger salute!" Something had to change, and frankly, I got tired of loosing!
I found that all I had to do was win and remind them how old they are! All I had to do was "shovel it" right back in their face, like the wise-crack in the beginning of the round - Like when they say something to the point of, "Who taught you how to sell (smooze)? You're supposed to LET me win!" they would say jokingly. To which I would respond (this is great!) "I'm not selling anything. My product knows it's good and good products sell themselves. I'm just here for the free round of golf. Keep up ol'man." I say, dripping with sarcasm!
After he picks his jaw up off the floor, he glances at me, then at his useless, thousand dollar golf club, then back at me, who happened to be getting smaller on the horizon - a look of determination, anger and sheer insult ran over his face with an underlying theme of "Old" - he knows he's lost, he knows he is old and he knows that its not his 6,000 dollar set of clubs.
Sometimes you have to paint a picture with bold colors. The metaphor was set and just then my executive had an epiphany about life - his life. This golf game served as a microcosm of something bigger; maybe the struggle to keep up with the younger generation or maybe the realization, in spite of all he is, everything that he isn't anymore. He realizes that there are other things that he has to prepare for, like retirement, and his focus has to change. No longer am I just a spiteful kid, but a messenger who now had a greater "glow."
By the time we got to the next hole, he started talking and I listened.

Go Niche With Your Affiliate Marketing
There are a lot of people that are coming on the Internet who are trying to make money in some way or another. Most of these individuals are starting out with out their own product or even an e-mail list. How are they doing it? They are signing up for affiliate programs and trying to get people to buy the things that those programs have to offer. This can be an excellent way to get your feet wet on the Internet and begin to make a profit. As a matter of fact, some individuals have made a living out of this form of marketing and continue to do better than many people who have their own product and tried to market on the Internet that way.
One of the common mistakes that many people make whenever they get into affiliate marketing is that they try to be everything to everyone. This is simply not a good idea. Think of yourself as more of a mom-and-pop shop than a Wal-Mart. When a person goes into a Wal-Mart store to buy a shirt, they will end up buying several other things just out of convenience. When somebody comes to your website to buy a shirt, they will buy the shirt and leave. Don't try to sell somebody something that they are not interested in. People who are buying things on the Internet are buying them because they are looking for that specific item, nothing more.
Affiliate marketing in this way is otherwise known as niche marketing. This form of marketing can be applied to having your own product or selling a product that belongs to somebody else. The real key to this is that you are only focusing on a specific group of people. For example, if you are in an affiliate program which is selling a product to help with headaches, you want to find people who are suffering from headaches.
If you do, you would be surprised with the number of them that will actually buy the product. It's a clear-cut case of supplying something to individuals who are making a demand for that particular item.
There are several different ways to pull traffic that are interested in specific items. Some of these ways are very standard forms of marketing on the Internet and others are a little bit sneaky. An example of standard marketing would be search engine optimization or perhaps pay per click marketing. A sneaky technique would be posting in forums and leaving a link to your affiliate program.
To be honest, it doesn't really matter how you get the traffic to your website as long as you're doing so without breaking any laws. If somebody is interested in what you have to offer, they will be happy to pay for it and you will be happy to make the sale. That's the best way to make money with affiliate marketing.
If you want to make a splash in your marketing efforts, make sure that you don't overlook the physical products. Not only can they help you to make money, they can help you to build a business.

Social Media Optimization: The Power Of Popular Opinion
Why should I care about Social Media Optimization?
You should care about Social Media Optimization (SMO), because you care about your company’s image. There’s an old saying that goes something like, “A happy customer will tell one other person about his good experience. A disgruntled customer will tell ten people about his bad experience.” Good or bad, that’s powerful marketing. Social Media Optimization gives you the power to take an active role in managing your brand by interacting with your current and potential clients by discussing your products, their comments and concerns and continually promoting your brand.
Social Media Optimization Defined
In its most basic form, Social media optimization (http://www.neboweb.com/social-media-optimization.php) is any method used to raise your website’s online visibility through meaningful communication. SMO opens a dialogue between you and your clients, using the power of popular opinion to fuel your marketing campaign. The open format strengthens your search engine optimization efforts by fostering a mutual connection with your clients through the myriad of online communities, also called social media sites. Current examples of SMO include:
• Creating profiles in social media communities such as MySpace, Facebook, and VIRB.
• Participating in and/or creating blogs.
• Disseminating your blogs or articles using RSS feeds.
• Creating and sharing content through community based sites like Flickr, YouTube, and more.
Not to incorporate unnecessary buzz words, but SMO is a very Web 2.0 approach to Search Engine Optimization. Of course, Web 2.0 merely refers to the perceived second generation of Web-based communities and hosted services - the social-networking sites, wikis and folksonomies, which facilitate collaboration and sharing between users. SMO allows you to become an active member of your online community, quite an important aspect of marketing your brand. Through participation, you establish yourself or your company as an industry leader and increase your online visibility.
As you can imagine, Social Media Optimization is most effective when the viral nature of the technique and its communities are utilized in a positive manner. Creating legitimate content, building relationships and instilling trust in your community is the very backbone of SMO. You may initiate the process, but effective SMO will take on a life all its own. A true forum is bred through the act of continual communication between your company and your online audience.
Of course, not everyone plays by the rules. In every aspect of life, you will find those who would cheat the system to receive short term gains. Like most schemes, the underbelly of SMO may seem attractive to anyone looking for a quick fix, but don’t make that mistake. Just as it’s true with SEO, erroneous SMO will backfire. Using questionable techniques will very likely yield the exact opposite results you were hoping to see.
SMO Etiquette
Legitimate SMO techniques are centered on sharing information and exposing your community to your interests. As such, you want to focus on promoting proper SMO etiquette. The MySpace super friend, the guy or gal who adds anyone and everyone, would be a good example of improper Social Media Optimization. The whole concept behind Social Media is to create a community with similar interests for meaningful discussion and let the power of popular opinion increase your online visibility. Of course, you may belong to several different communities and you may even have some of the same friends in those different communities. That’s perfectly fine. The idea is to remain active in your communities by adding friends and contributing relevant content. Adding friends in bulk, for no reason, is no way to optimize.
Communal sites like MySpace and Facebook, or even YouTube and Flickr to some extent, are indeed popularity contests. However, simply trying to catalog massive amounts of unrelated, uninterested “friends” is totally counterproductive. Let the high school kids worry about who’s got the most friends. For the purpose of SMO, you should concern yourself with quality, not quantity.
Using unsavory SMO techniques is the Web 2.0 equivalent to spam. Unfortunately, we’re all far too familiar with spam. Unsolicited bulk messaging and link heavy advertisements instead of useful comments are two of the more prevalent methods of Social Media spamming. However, Social Media spamming is even more atrocious than email spam, because the offending text is visible to everyone on the site. It doesn’t hide in your inbox, so it can really dilute the appeal of the site. Your kindergarten teacher was on the right track. If you don’t have something relevant to say, don’t say anything at all.
Is SMO right for my firm?
There are many different types of Social Media sites currently available. To put it in perspective, think about all the different interests you have in life. Now, consider the possibility that there’s at least one Social Media site for each of your interests. Of course, you’re not the only person on the Internet, so it’s a safe bet there are literally millions of sites dedicated to countless interests around the world. Believe it or not, there’s a group out there looking for your company, product or service. You just have to make it available. Therefore, understanding how to submit to and maintain your content on each community is absolutely crucial when developing a successful SMO strategy.
A few examples of the different Social Media genres include:
• News - These sites allow users to submit news articles. Once an article is published, users can submit their comments and vote to promote the story and/or author.
Examples include: Digg, Propeller, Newsvine
• Media - These sites allow users to upload and share a variety of different media files. The overwhelming majority of these sites are dedicated mainly to photo and video files.
Examples include: YouTube, Flickr
• Wiki - These sites allow users to add and edit informational articles as determined by the individual users.
Examples include: Wikipedia, WikiHow, Million Dollar Wiki
• Networking - These sites allow users to create profiles and network with others according to similar traits, tastes, and interests.
Examples include: MySpace, Facebook, Virb
• Bookmarking - These sites allow users to compile public bookmark collections of sites they find interesting, informative, or helpful. The more a site is bookmarked, the hgher the ranking.
Examples include: Stumble Upon, Technorat, Del.icio.us
When executed properly, Social Media Optimization can be quite a beneficial marketing tool. However, SMO may simply not be the right fit for your organization. Some questions you might like to consider before launching your SMO campaign are:
• Most SMO sites share very specific information. Would your products benefit from this type of content specific market?
• The audience for most Social Media sites is more of a young, tech savvy group. Would your company, product or service appeal to their fickle nature?
• Does your web site contain a blog, or similar media outlet, you can regularly update with relevant content?
• Given the fact that community based sites focus on individual profiles and commentary, are you comfortable with developing unique profiles across multiple sites?
In summary
Social Media Optimization has become a successful marketing tool for one simple reason. It works. The gap between old media and new has gotten smaller and smaller with the majority of the prominent television and print media outlets finally embracing the Internet by launching sites of their own. The different Social Media sites, like MySpace and Facebook, have exploded with profiles for everything from 8th graders discussing their favorite bands to full scale ad campaigns for Blockbuster movies.
If done correctly, SMO can expose your brand to markets you never thought possible. Whether it’s used alone to drive a campaign or in conjunction with your current interactive marketing strategy, Social Media Optimization offers you a significant advantage.

Write What You Know and the Money Will Flow
Writing "how to e-books and small reports" is one of the most lucrative business models online today. People from all walks of life are cashing in on the Info-publishing industry and raking in money hand over fist. And the great thing about it . . . They don’t even have to be a professional author to be successful online.
Think about it . . . let’s say you are passionate about under water basket weaving. Just kidding . . . . For real, Lets say you really are passionate about playing guitar, and over the years you have learned to master your instrument. May be you have even written a few songs yourself. I bet you could easily write a "How to Play Guitar for Beginners" e-book or small report. You probably have tons of guitar knowledge rolling around inside that head of yours. It’s even better if you have one particular favorite style of playing. This way you can be even more specific about you subject and dominate your niche.
For Example: How to Play Country Blues Guitar or How to Play Electric Slide
The great thing about your e-book or small report is that it will be coming from you own unique experiences. Therefore making you an instant expert and authority of your subject . . . You know that there are millions of people each and everyday looking for information on how to do this or that. The internet is really still in its infancy and will only continue to get bigger and bigger as the years go by. The good news for you is that just means more and more customers looking for your advice.
The great thing about writing an e-book or small report on a subject you are passionate about is . . . It’s a whole lot easier. Think about it . . . If you already know how to play guitar, how easy would it be to write down step by step instructions explaining how to tune your guitar, or how to select the right guitar for beginners. You get the Idea. The point is . . . That if you did not know how to do those things, you would have to learn them before you could share your knowledge. This would make your e-book or small report that much more difficult to complete.
Note: I personally am not a big fan of research. It’s way to time consuming. And in this business, the faster you complete your project the faster you can concentrate on other money making activities.
If you have a passion about something, share it with the world. You never know who you can help reach their dreams. O r maybe you have a unique experience that sheds some new light on a particular subject for someone. One thing for sure if you write what you know the money will flow.

Why 70% Of All PPC Ad Dollars Are Wasted, And How You Can Make Sure You Don't Waste A Single Dime
Have you been looking for a new, better way to advertise, because you were not getting the traffic you wanted to your website? When people start looking for new ways to advertise, they usually come across certain advertising programs that are called PPC (or Pay Per Click). Now, when you first hear about these sites, you are going to think that they sound great.
That is because you only pay for the people that actually click on your ad. Thus, you are only paying for the people that visit your site. However, did you know that almost 70% of your PPC ad dollars could be getting wasted every month! The good news is that there are a few tips that you can use to make sure you get the most out of your advertising dollars, and keep the traffic rolling in.
The first thing that you have to do is going to sound silly, but it's something that a lot of people do not think about. Make sure you are joining a legit PPC site! When people are looking for PPC site, they tend to join the first one that they find (or sometimes the first few that they find). Sometimes you will get lucky and find a legit site, but most of the time, you are just going to end up signing up with a "Paid to click" site. Now a Paid To Click and a Pay Per Click are very different.
On a PPC, you are paying for people that click on your ad that gets brought up in a search engine. On a paid to click site, you are submitting your ads to this site, and people are paid to click on them. Thus, you are not getting quality hits to your site. Some of the hits will be legit, but most are just doing it to get paid. So when looking to not waste 70% (or more) of your advertising dollars, make sure you join a Pay Per Click site, and not a Paid To Click site! If you are just starting out try to stick with Google Adwords and Yahoo Overture.
Next, after joining a PPC site you need to make sure you are paying for the right keywords. Just because a keyword is searched for the most, does not mean that it fits with your business at all. You have to choose keywords that are related to your business. If not, then you are going to be paying for people to click on your ad, only to find out that these people are not interested in what you are selling. That is just wasting your ad money.
While setting up you PPC advertising campaign, try to choose long tail keywords related to your niche.
These are important because they focus to a customers exact needs and thus, are giving you a better ROI. Long tail keywords are also less competitive than broad type keywords overused by most PPC advertisers. Make sure to dig in to find out long tail keywords related to your business.
To Your Success!

Why You Should Hire A Real Web Developer And Not Just Some Guy's Cousin
The mistake that many online entrepreneurs make is that they cut corners when it comes to their web design. Your website is the “face of your company,” and you should not trust its presentation to just anyone. The next time someone says to you, “My cousin did my website and he can do a good job for you,” just say, “Thanks, but no thanks.” The teenage kid three doors down calls himself a webmaster. That doesn’t mean you should trust him with your livelihood. You should treat your website design as if your business depends on it…because it does.
Before you take the first step toward hiring a web designer, you’ll need to determine the goals you want your website to accomplish. Whether your business is totally online or this website is another channel to market your existing bricks and mortar storefront, the impression you give will have a direct impact on your bottom line.
The problem with hiring someone who knows someone is that you may not get an honest assessment of his work. Get a list of his past clients and contact them. Ask them about their experiences with this particular web designer. Look at their sites. Is the website consistent with their company’s goals? Are their sites easy to navigate? Would you buy merchandise from this website?
The best way to find a good designer is to ask existing business owners to make recommendations based on their experiences. Get a list of possible candidates, but don’t make your decision too quickly. Check out each web designer’s personal site. Look for these essential details:
* Is the site visually appealing (colors, design, alignment, consistency)?
* Is the site easy to navigate?
* Do the pages load quickly?
* Is it easy to read?
* Is the contact information, privacy policy, terms of use, etc. clearly visible?
This is just the beginning. You’ll want to work with a web designer that understands the goals of your site and how it complements your business. If you’re building an e-commerce site, you must hire someone who has e-commerce experience.
What could happen if you decide to “save some money” and hire that guy your cousin knows? I heard about one business that was more concerned with making their site look cool than making it easy to navigate. The result? They lost countless dollars in profits because their website visitors just didn’t know what to do once they landed on the page.
Just today, I read about a website owner that hired a friend to build his site. The problem was that the friend registered the domain in his name, and the business owner had to threaten legal action to get the domain back.
Still want to hire that guy your cousin knows?
When it comes to website design, it’s best to keep business matters separate from personal matters. Don’t cut corners to save a buck. Outsource the work to a reputable web designer who will look out for you and your company. If you hire just anyone to build your site, the money you “save” today will cost you a lot of business tomorrow.

Creative Copywriting - You're The Best Copywriter For Your Product
You're launching a new business or a new product. You're looking for a copywriter, but have you considered doing your own copywriting?
You may be the best person to do it. Discover how to write your own copy in this article.
Copywriting is the art of persuasion: you convince someone to do something you want him to do. When you hire a copywriter, he does the persuading, and in order to do that, he has to understand both the product and the audience.
Therefore, much of the time the writer devotes to your project is taken up with research. Depending on a copywriter's knowledge of your industry, that time can be short, or lengthy. Either way, it must be done, and you pay for the writer to get up to speed.
Since you know your own product, you start out way ahead of any copywriter, even the best in the business. And because you do have all this inside knowledge, you already have many of the tools you need to write great copy.
The copy you write may not be as good as the copy a copywriter produces, but "great copy" is not your aim - your aim is to persuade and to sell.
So here's a guide to writing great copy in five simple steps. For the purposes of this article, we'll assume you're writing a Web sales page. However, the same basic formula will work for many kinds of copy.
1. Remind your reader of his problem
Before you introduce your product, you must remind your reader (or viewer in the case of video or radio) that he has a problem. Therefore start your copy where your reader is: in pain.
Make a list of reasons or triggers which have led people to buy your product, or similar products. Find the pain.
2. Establish your credibility as someone who has the solution to his pain
Next, you must establish your credibility. You can do this in any way you wish. Producing customer testimonials is a common way, or you can tell a story - why you developed the product, and how it's helped others.
3. Introduce your product and its benefits
You've reminded your reader of his pain, and have established your credibility as someone who provides the relief the reader wants. Now it's time to introduce your product.
Since you know the product, sell it as you'd sell it in person. Chat with the reader, revealing the product's benefits. At this stage, you've aroused the reader's curiosity, and are beginning to stimulate his desire to eliminate his pain and buy your product.
4. Convince the reader your product offers real value
The next step in this process is delicate. You need to convince your reader that your product offers real value, and that he won't regret his purchase.
Offer evidence - compare your product with others, or refer to testimonials again.
5. Get the response you want - make your offer
You've brought your prospect along with you every step of the way. Now, finally, you make your offer.
Once your offer's made, stop selling. Just tell the reader how to make the purchase, and what happens as he moves through the purchase process. Give him all the information he needs, but no more.
So there you have it. Five simple steps to copywriting for your own products: you may be the best person to write your own copy, now you know how.
Autoresponders For A Successful Newsletter
Owning a newsletter is probably one of the best ways for you to make serious money on the Internet. The reason why this is the case is because you can build a relationship with the people on your newsletter in a way that may be missing from just having them visit your webpage. In the first place, people to visit your webpage may come and go, never to be seen again. If, however, you get them to sign up to your newsletter then you will have the opportunity to contact them with your messages or regular basis. This can not only keep them coming back to your website regularly, it can increase your sales dramatically.
Any good newsletter should start out with an autoresponder. There are two ways that you can actually look at how you will use an autoresponder to start a newsletter. Either you will use them for the short term or for the long-term. Each of these has a distinct advantage and can be used in order to fill a wide variety of Internet marketing circumstances. Let's take a look at each of these separately to see what the pros and cons are of doing it different ways.
First of all, you may use your autoresponder in the short term. The way that you would do this is by having an automatic response to them immediately upon their signing up for your newsletter. This is the perfect way to welcome them to your newsletter, thank them for their patronage and introduce yourself and your product. The one thing that you will want to be careful of is that you do not go too overboard on the marketing messages from the start. After this first autoresponder and maybe one or two more, you can dump them directly into the newsletter so that they can begin receiving regular e-mails from you.
Many individuals also do autoresponder marketing on the long-term. They may spend an entire afternoon or two writing dozens of autoresponder messages that will be sent out on a regular basis to anyone that subscribes. Each of these will be precisely timed and are often tested to see how they can improve on the open rates and response to these e-mail messages. If you have a long enough to autoresponder series, you can actually drop them from the end right back into the beginning. This will have the effect of keeping them on the autoresponder and having the possibility of them taking action the second time around. Believe it or not, very few if any people will notice what you just did.
An autoresponder can be one of your best tools that you keep in your Internet marketing toolbox. Just make sure, however, that you don't abuse this service by alienating people as soon as they sign up for your list. Take the time to introduce yourself and to tell them a little bit about who you are and what you have to offer. You will be surprised at how well this works.

A Review Of The 4-Hour Workweek By Timothy Ferriss
In addition to learning six languages, winning a national championship in Chinese kickboxing, and lecturing on his specialty, entrepreneurship, at Princeton University, Timothy Ferriss still finds time to run his multinational company from wireless locations around the globe. Creator and author of The 4-Hour Workweek, a New York Times best selling book and formula for obtaining financial freedom, Ferriss shares his concepts for becoming wealthy simply by living more and working less.
The main premise of The 4-Hour Workweek is basically learning how to outsource your life so that you have more time to devote to the things you really enjoy doing, but still earning a lucrative income at the same time. Ferriss, a self-proclaimed serial entrepreneur and ultra vagabond, has wisely outlined his unique blueprint for escaping the usual rat race while achieving financial freedom.
Another prominent aspect of The 4-Hour Workweek is Ferriss' DEAL, an acronym that represents the following four phases:
Definition: The first step of the DEAL process requires one to pinpoint their fears and get past their preconceived notions about work, responsibilities, earning money, and how to become wealthy. Definition also explains how to overcome those fears and figure out what it will take to achieve your financial goals.
Elimination: Elimination focuses heavily on the crucial benefits of honing your time management skills. Delving into the 80/20 rule, Ferriss explains how it's possible to eliminate the time-wasting details that bog us down, and instead concentrate on the profitable, lucrative ways of producing tangible results.
Automation: This step of the DEAL process involves finding, hiring, and building a team of reliable assistants that work on your behalf, earning income by following your instructions and direction.
Liberation: After the successful automation of your life, it's possible to become liberated from the regular confines of work, being productive by utilizing the world of wireless technology.
Emphasizing the "hands-off" approach in The 4-Hour Workweek, Ferriss says that virtual assistants are the wave of the future and highly recommends taking advantage of their services. Explaining the differences between absolute and relative income, he also outlines how it's possible to reduce one's workload in half in just 48 hours using little-known principles that have long been successfully implemented by European economists.
Some of the other forward-thinking concepts and techniques related to The 4-Hour Workweek include:
- Learning how to travel around the world without quitting your job or having it affect your income.
- Obtaining free housing, anywhere in the world.
- Flying for up to 80% off the usual airline fees.
- How to enjoy life, find meaning and purpose, all while earning more money than ever before.
- Learning and teaching others to value one's performance over presence.
- Learning how to create an "automated cash-flow muse" in as few as four weeks.
- Why taking mini-retirements, long periods of relaxation peppered with intermittent periods of work, is the absolute best way to live.
With The 4-Hour Workweek philosophy, Timothy Ferriss provides insightful ideas and details how it's possible to forget the age-old concept of retirement after working for the majority of one's life, and finding innovative ways of realizing your financial dreams.

A Review Of The 4life Research Income Opportunity
The 4life research income opportunity is one based on purchasing. Basically, this means that you are required to bring in a certain amount every month in order to qualify not only for income but for benefits. While there are over 75 products in the line up that, you can sell. The product is nutritional based making it difficult to market.
The company’s products are based on the transfer factor, which apparently was the factor that transferred immunity from one person to another on order to give another person immunity to a particular disease. This is the same thing that happens between mothers and their children during breast-feeding. The mother’s immunity is passed on to the child. This is named the T factor and is the main component of the company’s product; they do offer a 30-day money back guarantee.
The guarantee is a little short; on average, it takes more than 30 days for a product to cycle through the body and build up enough to start showing a decent effect. This means that you do not really get to see what the product can do for you before you would have to return it. This again makes the product a little difficult to sell. Direct sale involved recruiting and network marketing brings up the majority of the business practices. This means you would be required to purchase products, sell products and recruit new members in order to maintain your status within the opportunity.
4life research products do have some clinical studies but not done within the US so the product is not FDA approved. It was reviewed by studies in Russia. The disclaimer on the site does mention that the Testimonies are based on Placebo effects, which means that results may have happened because the people believed they should happen. The disclaimer also states how little the product can actually make you and that few people see large income results as well as mentioning that investments are necessary in order to use the network marketing system.
Because the product deals in direct sales it means you do need to keep an inventory to sell and may require you going out and directly selling in a manner similar to door to door even with internet marketing. The product is unique but it basically is used to boost the immune system making it difficult to test on a home use without trying it for several months, this would take you outside the guarantee. Between the lacks of qualified research, the statements of testimonials based on placebo effects and the lack of a long enough guarantee making a decent living with even a large amount of work and effort seems difficult.
There is also no mention of 4life research providing training and while they do mention a full time support staff they do not mention what it is for. It is possible it is simply to take 4life research orders or to handle customer service of customers.

3 Profitable List Building Techniques
There are so many different ways to market on the Internet but one of the most effective is by contacting people on a continual basis through your own e-mail list. If you haven’t started building an e-mail list, today is the perfect day for you to begin. Far too many individuals will land on your webpages and then go away without ever returning. If they give you permission to contact them, you can direct them back to your website, to your products or get them to participate in some kind of interaction, such as a form.
Although there are almost an endless number of ways that you can build your list, there are three different ways that you should be using right from the start. If you haven’t put these into practice in your own marketing yet, you would be surprised at how much of a difference they can make in the amount of subscribers you receive.
The first method is by using an effective squeeze page. This page should have some kind of a compelling reason why the individual would be signing up for your newsletter. You should not have any kind of information that would crowd out the focus of the page, your subscription form. Offer them some free information in exchange for their e-mail address and make sure that there is no other way for them to leave that page other than to join your newsletter or to hit the back button.
If the individual does decide to hit the back button, you should have something in place in order to capture their attention. Although this can be a little bit annoying to some users, you would be surprised at the number of individuals who will actually subscribe to your newsletter, simply because you gave them a second chance. Perhaps they didn’t recognize the fact that you were offering them some information in exchange for their e-mail or maybe they are just surfing. Regardless, if you have some kind of a pop-up box or message box that gives them a second opportunity to join your e-mail, many of them will take advantage of it. Only offer them one extra chance, any more than that will annoy almost anyone.
The last thing that you need to do in order to build a large list is to continually test your marketing methods. You can do this in a number of different ways but one of the most effective is by doing an A - B split test. This can easily be done with a PHP include or any number of different free split test scripts that are available online. Run the test for 100 to 200 page views in order to see which version of the webpage is pulling in more subscribers. Dump the loser and then test the winner with another page. Keep on doing this until you’re happy with the number of subscribers that your pages are generating.

Do you need a Website to do Affiliate Marketing?
The answer is NO.
So you want to make money on the net, but no money, experience or website, eh? No worries my friends. There are many ways to do this and we will explore them here.
Affiliate marketing provides anyone, experienced or not the opportunities to make money on the Internet. All you need to do is find a program suitable for you and sign up. Picking that Online merchant or retailer, to start promoting for is easy. There are so many programs to choose from and finding them is easy as well. Here is where search engines are your best friend.
Affiliates make commission on the products they sell or promote. Search for "affiliate programs" + the "Subject" you like in Google, kind of like this: Affiliate Programs+Basketball. Simple, right. Now you know how to find them but why would you want to? A lot of programs promise big money with little effort, BS, it takes a lot of effort on your part, but many people are still hesitant to get into affiliate marketing. Why? Because they believe these get rich quick people and programs that fall short of their promise. Well with lots of experience, a well branded name or product and a lot of hard, continuous work, it is possible to make a very nice income on the net.
People say affiliate marketing without a website is impossible. Not true, there are so many ways to promote affiliate products it isn't funny. Live promotions, Business cards, email list, forums, social bookmarking, social networks, and these are just a few. So lets get into them so you can have a better idea of what your going to do next:
1. Email Marketing
Email marketing, or maintaining email lists, is actually the best way and most popular affiliate marketing strategy that doesn't require you to have a website. You can gather list through many genres Online, Social Networks, Forums and so on. You can then send these contacts emails about your affiliate program products. But not so direct. People find ad emails annoying. Send them a email talking about something your excited about and only put a text link to the merchandise. A lot more user friendly if you know what I mean.
2. Off line Promotion
Here we will get into many ways to promote. Watch this list as it grows on you...lol. Flyers. A good way to promote to your local people you know and within your neighborhood. Business Cards do good as well. Posters in local stores, ask if you can put up a poster in a local shop, they usually don't mind. You ever seen those Ads on Paper taped to Poles, bulletin boards where you can rip one off and take it home and call the number (Ads for apartment rentals and such.) Theres another way. Even friends advertising for you on their site can work but may cost you a little...lol.
3. eBook Writing
If you know how to write and enjoy it. ebook writing is a great way to promote affiliate products. And you put them up on different sites that help you sell such items. And there are many. Just search for "Affiliate Programs" and you will see.
4. Writing Free Ezines Articles
Article writing is a quick, free and easy way to do this without a site. You write your article basically about the products, not mentioning any websites or links or names within the body. All your advertising is done at the bottom in a Resource box. Your allowed at most article sites to leave information to your programs, affiliate links and about yourself with9n this resource box. And there are lots of great sites for this.
5. Online Social Networks (Forums, Chats, Social Networks, etc.)
These are places you really need to be anyway. The potential is limitless here. But NO SPAMMING. These places require a more casual approach. You have to actually socialize here. Become friends with people and offer them help, not a quick sale. Ethics and respect are your best friend in social places.
So, with all these different ways to promote without a site. It seems more easy to get into affiliate marketing, right. Advertising is not easy but possible without a website. A little more work is involved, but you can accomplish your goals just as well. And when the money rolls in, get yourself a website.
Having a website is not necessary, it does help, but still not necessary. Most affiliate sites merchants already provide the site or landing page for you, all you have to do is get the people there.
I hope your business booms and I was able to help a little."Keith Brown's Internet Marketing Strategies" - Vol. 1 - IS HERE!! DOWNLOAD YOUR FREE COPY NOW!

How to Sell an eBook online!
Ebooks are an excellent product for an online business to sell. There is almost no cost involved to duplicate and deliver an ebook and the entire sales and delivery process can be automated. The profit margins can be good (even for inexpensive products) and they can be excellent if you choose the right topic. But, the whole process of selling online can be intimidating for the first-time publisher.
In order to get started selling online you need 3 things:
- a website that promotes your product
- a method of receiving payments
- a method to deliver the product to your customer after payment
How To Create Your Ebook Sales Website
Your promotional website should not be complicated. It should be a one page HTML document that is focused on selling your product (you've probably encountered many of these 'salespage' style sites on the web.) The content will include a 'call to action' (otherwise known as the sales pitch) and include an order button. Most people include a P.S. or two that summarizes the major benefits and repeats the call to action.
There is an excellent free software package called Kompozer (Google the name for the website) that will help you design the webpage.
In order for people to find and access your salespage, you will need a server to 'host' it on and a domain name. There are dozens of companies that will help you with domain name registration and hosting if you don't already have this taken care of. The total cost should be under $10US per month.
How To Accept Payments Online
Your salespage will have an order button on it for customers to click and purchase your ebook. This will link to some kind of online payment processor. PayPal is a very popular service that is available in most countries around the world.
A PayPal Premier account can be setup easily by almost anyone. There are no monthly charges for a Premier account and PayPal charges a small transaction fee for every payment they process. With a PayPal Premier account you will be able to accept credit card payments, electronic checks, and direct PayPal transfers from other members.
PayPal includes tools on their merchant services area where you can create a 'Buy Now' button to place on your salespage. The form is very easy to use. Simply fill in all of the details about your product. Make sure that the 'button encryption' option is set to yes. If it is not, anyone with basic web skills can view the source code for your salespage and change the purchase price or simply steal the link to your download page without paying. Even worse, search engines will eventually find and index your download page.
At the bottom of the page is a link to "Add More Options." Click this and look for the section labeled "Customize Your Buyer's Experience." There is an option here to enter a URL for people to be forwarded to after they make a successful payment. The link you put here is for the download page where the customer will get their product which leads us to...
How To Deliver Your Ebook
The last step in your ebook selling process is to deliver the product file to customers after they pay. The simplest approach is just to create a simple HTML page that has a short thank you message on it and a link for downloading the product. A common practice to keep people from finding this page is to give it a name that has lots of random characters in it to make it hard to guess and place it in a directory that has a similar hard to guess name. The download file should be placed in the same folder or a special sub-folder (also with a hard to guess name.)
This approach reduces the chances of someone guessing you download page, but if they do find the page, this offers no protection from theft.
There are some more sophisticated software solutions available that will verify payment information before allowing access to download pages and files and will create a unique link to the product that hides its true location on your server and expires after a certain length of time or number of downloads. They might also include tools for running an affiliate program.
Using a Hosted Shopping Cart
A third option for delivering your products is to use a hosted shopping cart program. This is the approach I use in my business.
There are a number of services at wildly different pricing structures that can handle this task. I use a company called E-junkie that is very inexpensive and offers almost every option I need to run a highly automated online business. They have a free one week trial and they don't have any transaction fees to cut into your profits.
Take Action and Get Started Now Selling Ebooks Online
The most important decision you can make for your online business is to decide to start and take action. If you have to start small and cheap - do it. Use free tools and low tech solutions and take the money you earn and invest in better technology. If you wait for everything to be perfect, you will never start.
I recommend using PayPal and E-junkie to take payments and deliver products. The monthly fees are small and the technical hurdles required to deliver a secure product are low. E-junkie will make the buttons, send the thank-you emails, create the secure download pages and deliver the products. They even have tools for running an affiliate program.
Take action and have a profitable day!

Selling EBooks Online for Cash!
The desire to make fast money online is possible, probable and certain with the rise of the internet and the digital age as a whole. There are so many legitimate ways to make a fortune digitally and the best part is you never have to go to work. No more aggravating bosses. You really can be your own boss. If you want to build your very own money making online business, you may want to consider selling ebooks.
Selling ebooks can be very involved. It is not a simple task, but the payoff is huge. Depending on the subject and how much money you want to make, you could be writing between 20-100 pages and make fast money online.
Remember that we are living in the digital age. People are searching for answers at all hours of the day and night. How convenient for them when they are able to purchase your ebook at 2 a.m. and get the answers they are looking for. You are taking advantage of the world we live in to make fast money online.
All your hard work WILL pay off. You just have to make the initial investment in order to be able to make fast money online. Be it time or money. Keep in mind that ebooks are the same as similar books, just read on the computer screen. People are very attracted to instant access and that will be your major selling point.
To start you plan to make fast money online, get a first draft written by someone else. Purchase an ebook written by another and be sure it has "private label rights". This will ensure your money making online.
Once your ebook is purchased, you are able to edit it out, freshen it up and slap your own name on it. Now it is marketable and you are the profit recipient. Keep in mind also that you may want to add affiliate links to your ebook. You are able to get commissions off sales made. It is just another way to make fast money online in addition to your writing of the ebook.
So, now your book is written. The next step is promotion of your product so people know what you have to offer and you can make fast money online. There is always the option to pay for advertising. That may be the easiest route for you if you have the expendable income.
One other way is to edit the ebook you purchased. Usually, they come with graphics and a sales letter that you can edit. This gives great examples and ideas to the promotion of your product. There are so many methods of marketing for free, that my belief is that it is NEVER necessary to pay for marketing and promoting your product. That means you can make fast money online and not spend as much to do it..
It is a fact of life that a profitable venture requires an investment of time and often money. Starting your online business can be simplified and reduce your time investment by purchasing an ebook. Then market it and promote it. You must build your digital product effectively, and as you build it, the sales will follow. You will continue to sell and generate revenue over and over, all the while developing your next product. The more you produce; your business will grow exponentially. Doing this is the best way to make fast money online today!
You might want to get an inventory first!

Fundraising, Marketing and Selling.
A lot of people think that once they hit the publish button, or post their brand new webpage onto the internet, they are going to instantly get 1,000,001 hits to their site. WRONG!
There is nothing more false. Unfortunately, it takes money to make money...as sad as it may be, the more money you have to invest the more money you are going to make. And you "invest" that money in Advertisements! On the internet, pay per clicks and keywords are the money makers. Again, its unfortunate that the keywords that you may want to use to drive people to your site have already been thought of by others and the "Click bid" is now almost up to $5.00 per click, and if you don't have the funds to support multiple clicks, then you wont get the visitors you need to turn over a sale from your site.
The average sale, given the pre-sale is effective will translate into about 1-5% of the Click through Rate (CTR) of a given lead or ad. So, in theory, you need 10-50 clicks to get one sale - given the above example that can translate to about $50-$250 to generate that one sale. Not very cost effective.
$5.00 per click is not unheard of...
I have worked out a strategy where you can get clicks for cents on the dollar that generate sales. To find out more join my VIP mailing list by downloading my free eBook. This email course could change the way you look at internet sales from now on!

Are Google Advertisments Worth it?
Google Ads can get pretty pricey, especially if you are paying per click, and don't get a return on that visitor. By not getting a return on the visitor, I mean they don't buy any product from your site or don't take advantage of your affiliated links.
Well what if Google ads were free? What if someone thought of that and made it possible.
I didn't believe it either, until I found that nifty little piece of software. Try it, and let me know what you think. Get your free Google ads here!

Exploring Forex or FX Trading Online.
Making money with money seems a bit absurd. Forex trading is trading against each monetary value - to put it simply.
Unlike a stock market, where all participants have access to the same prices, the forex market is divided into levels of access. At the top is the inter-bank market, which is made up of the largest investment banking firms. Within the inter-bank market, spreads, which are the difference between the bid and ask prices, are razor sharp and usually unavailable, and not known to players outside the inner circle. As you descend the levels of access, the difference between the bid and ask prices widens (from 0-1 pip to 1-2 pips for some currencies such as the EUR). This is due to volume. If a trader can guarantee large numbers of transactions for large amounts, they can demand a smaller difference between the bid and ask price, which is referred to as a better spread. The levels of access that make up the forex market are determined by the size of the “line” (the amount of money with which they are trading). The top-tier inter-bank market accounts for 53% of all transactions. After that there are usually smaller investment banks, followed by large multi-national corporations (which need to hedge risk and pay employees in different countries), large hedge funds, and even some of the retail forex market makers. According to Galati and Melvin, “Pension funds, insurance companies, mutual funds, and other institutional investors have played an increasingly important role in financial markets in general, and in FX markets in particular, since the early 2000s.” (2004) In addition, he notes, “Hedge funds have grown markedly over the 2001–2004 period in terms of both number and overall size” Central banks also participate in the forex market to align currencies to their economic needs.
Large sums of money are needed for traditional forex trading, but with a constant gain, one could invest a substantially lower quantity of money. Especially, if you have someone or something do it for you. Now days there are computer software programs that will invest for you.
If you're interested in getting started, get an account with play money at FXCM.com, then once you have the hang of it purchase this autopilot program - I saw him on CN8 last month and finally found his site. Its worth a look, and a great alternative to the stock market; it eliminates a lot of investment risk.
